Foreclosure Attorney - Fully Remote

Lender Legal PLLC, a multi-state creditor’s rights firm with a primary practice area of residential mortgage foreclosure, is currently seeking experienced attorneys to join our teams in Florida, Illinois, Ohio, and Indiana.

Attorneys in this position will have a minimum of 1 year of experience handling all aspects of mortgage foreclosure litigation, including initial title review, complaint drafting, motion practice, discovery, mediations, trials, and execution on judgments. They will first-chair contested nonjury trials, take and defend depositions, and assist with legal research and writing on appellate matters as needed. They will work with both large and small financial institutions and investors.

Compensation commensurate with experience. The firm pays for 50% of healthcare benefits for employees and their families. The firm also provides paid vacation and 401k matching.

Requirements

• Law degree from ABA accredited law school.
• License to practice law in the state of Florida, Illinois, Ohio, or Indiana, and in good standing.
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in mortgage foreclosure in Florida, Illinois, Ohio, or Indiana is required; real estate and/or title law experience is a plus.
• Have a good working knowledge of litigation and motion practice, generally.
• Willingness to travel as needed across the state (10%).
